In response to the increasing number of factory closures in Noida, the Indian Industries Association (IIA) has announced that it will soon publish official figures detailing the extent of the impact. The closures, which have affected numerous manufacturing units, stem from ongoing industrial unrest and labor challenges.
According to IIA, several units have temporarily or permanently shut down operations, causing concern within the business community. The organization has assured stakeholders that they are actively working to gather verified data and address the core issues affecting the region's industrial stability.
Mr. Kulmani Gupta, President of IIA Noida Chapter, emphasized the importance of a transparent dialogue between factory owners, workers, and local authorities to restore confidence and operational continuity. “Data-driven insights will help us formulate a path forward,” he said.
The situation has drawn attention from state authorities and industry leaders, all of whom are awaiting the official release of data by IIA to plan corrective actions and policy interventions. The association remains committed to supporting both businesses and workers during this challenging period.
